ATLANTA, GA – Gauld Foot and Ankle is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Taylor Bergstrom, DPM, a highly skilled podiatrist specializing in podiatric medicine and surgery, to our esteemed team. Dr. Bergstrom will be treating patients at both our Buckhead and Marietta locations in Atlanta, Georgia, bringing her extensive expertise and compassionate care to our community.
A Georgia native, Dr. Bergstrom was raised in Decatur and has deep roots in the area. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors from The University of Georgia and went on to receive her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, IL. Dr. Bergstrom further honed her surgical skills during a rigorous three-year foot and ankle reconstructive surgical residency at HCA JFK Hospital in Palm Beach County, where she served as chief resident in her final year. During her training, she completed advanced surgical courses in arthroscopy, presented at national conferences, and published research in the field of podiatry.
Dr. Bergstrom is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Her practice at Gauld Foot and Ankle will encompass a wide range of treatments, from conservative to surgical methods, addressing conditions such as sports-related injuries, adult and pediatric flatfoot deformity, hallux valgus deformity, ankle sprains, fractures, plantar fasciitis, foot and ankle arthritis, wound care, and diabetic limb salvage.
With a special interest in sports medicine, Dr. Bergstrom is dedicated to helping athletes and active individuals return to their peak performance. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys staying active through running, training for races, and participating in HIIT workouts. On weekends, she can often be found at Lake Keowee, enjoying water skiing, wakeboarding, and slalom skiing with family and friends.
